About Me
Debbie is a Florida native who was born in Orlando, attended high school in Satellite Beach with her three brothers, and has been in Vero Beach for more than thirty years. After attending school in Atlanta, Georgia she found her way back to Orlando and graduated from the University of Central Florida with a BSBA in Finance. This path led her to explore the field of Commercial Real Estate Appraisal. She acquired her State Certified General Real Estate Appraisers License in 1990. She also earned her Real Estate Sales Associate license the same year. Her appraisal specialties included statewide assisted congregate living facilities, proposed subdivisions, Class-A office buildings, and warehouses.
Debbie met her husband Glen in Winter Park, Florida. His family had planted their first citrus grove in Indian River County in 1962. In 1985 Glen decided to pursue a career in the citrus industry in Vero Beach. Debbie decided to follow him in 1989 and began working for Tuttle, Armfield, Wagner Commercial Appraisers in Melbourne, Florida. Eventually she settled into residential real estate appraisals in Indian River County.
Her daughter Carly was born in 1991 and Taylor joined the family in 1994. Both of her daughters graduated from St. Edwards School. Carly received her Bachelor’s Degree from the College of Charleston, in Charleston S.C. in 2014. Taylor fulfilled her dream graduating from the University of Florida in 2017. Carly is now married to Andrew Witteck and resides in Vero Beach, Florida. Taylor is enjoying time in Atlanta, Georgia.
After raising her children Debbie had the desire to utilize her skills, and pursue a career in helping friends and family with their real estate needs. She has been an active Real Estate Sales Associate in Indian River County for the last 15 years. Debbie’s hobbies include tennis, pickleball, Mahjongg, reading, traveling, hiking, walking the beach and spending as much time with family and friends as she can. Lucky for her, Glen enjoys cooking!
Debbie’s experience with market research and data compilation adds to her knowledge of how economic forces affect properties and their market values. Her passion for real estate investment and assisting others with finding their home that best fits their needs is her career priority.
